You may not be a programmer like that 20 year old Malaysian kid with an Apple cease and desist letter. But it doesn’t mean you can’t roll with the clownfish background image on your existing phone. Never fear, iPhoneLive.org has a gallery of phone backgrounds for your downloading pleasure. So even though you don’t have an iPhone yet, you can still pretend you are Steve Jobs…just with a RAZR.

An image has surfaced on Flickr featuring Steve Jobs, in classic Steve black shirt and jeans, sporting what is believed to be an iPhone.

It does not surprise me that he would have one already (we already saw him prank a Starbucks with it during his Keynote Address. But isn’t it odd that he would just nonchalantly use it at the ball field?

Apple is normally the first to offer a 3D image of their most popular devices - you only have to look at the iPod webpage for the perfect example of this.

So it seems a little strange that, although the iPhone hasn’t been released yet, Apple have yet to offer their own 3D imagery of the highly anticipated device. Fortunately, Mad4MobilesPhones has stepped in to lend a hand and drawn up their own 3D rendering image of the iPhone using images from the Apple website.

Clever stuff!

I’m sure many Apple fan boys and girls out there will have seen the numerous “unpacking porn” pictures that appear on the net, one of the most popular being from around a year ago when one user photographed the entire unpacking of his MacBook Pro, as featured on TUAW.

But today we have a first, one user unpacking his iPhone over at iPhoneUnboxed.com. It seems that even though the shiny device hasn’t even been released yet, one lucky chap has managed to get his hands on the iPhone and taken photographs of the moment he took his new toy directly out of the box.

I remember a time when picture after picture after advert cropped up on the internet of iPhone fakes that surely brought a smile to Apple’s face whilst they worked on the real thing behind the scenes.

Yet none of these stories compare to an actual printed version in a popular French newspaper called 20 Minutes. Sure, internet stories come and go because, well, they can, but something in print is there for life and 20 Minutes will surely cringe at this very fact. Because it was those guys last year who printed the following image on the front page of their beloved newspaper to coincide with the Apple Expo in Paris.

As you can see, absolutely nothing like the real iPhone. The iPhone doesn’t have any buttons (bar one), nor does it have an expandable memory card slot, but they did get one thing right, the camera. I suppose this is a given with any phone though, right?

Here’s something I didn’t see coming, iPhone car integration in the up-and-coming BMW 7-series. iPod currently dominates the portable music player market, which is the sole reason so many cars are being made these days with iPod integration, but iPhone integration? Okay, while we here at iPhone Matters believe the iPhone to be one-of-a-kind, there’s not even been one unit shipped yet for any car manufacturer, let alone BMW, to actually take advantage of integration of any kind.

So that’s why the following rumour should really be taking with a huge pinch of salt. According to AutoSpies.com, a reliable unnamed source tells them that the BMW 7-series will feature iPhone integration, with the below image an example of what this would look like.

I’m not going to put any wagers down on this one folks, but you never know.

You can rub your eyes all that you wish, this gorgeous thing will still be on your screen. No, it isn’t June yet and the iPhone is not in your hands. Rather it is the promising announcement of the Meizu M8, an iPhone-like device found on the company’s official forums.

According to the article on Trusted Reviews, “For a start the M8 has what the iPhone most obviously lacks: 3G, it also sports a 3.3in 720 x 480 high resolution touch screen and a three megapixel camera as well as PMP abilities. There’s an ARM 11 processor at its heart which is capable of recording video at 30fps and Bluetooth and WiFi make it onboard.”

I’m liking the concept folks but I just can’t see this happening, ever. Mac Essentials have posted up a rather nice image of what the iPhone Shuffle would most likely look like if Steve Jobs and co. started to use recreational drugs.

I doubt Apple SVP of Industrial Design, Jonathon Ive, would be allowed to get away with something like this but it’d make life a hell of a lot more interesting if Apple did.

When you hear the title of “Most photographed model in the world” your mind may rush to the Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. Especially considering the news last year of Gisele’s involvement in a Mac ad. [Via AppleInsider]

But the most photographed models in the world these days, seem to be the 2 iPhones put in display at MacWorld. Search for iPhone in Flickr and it will pull up over 5000 pictures. It seems like people couldn’t put their camera down. The one pic above, in my opinion, is the most beautiful one. Shot by Duncan Davidson, this picture captures the beauty of the iPhone and the awe-struck show attendees.
