8, count them, 8 iPhone annoyances

At iPhone Matters we love the iPhone as much as anyone but we understand the thing isn’t perfect for everyone all the time. Which is why we found this list from Seeking Alpha a little on the light side. Sure Seeking Alpha hits some major points: the weirdish text messaging truncation, the UI inconsistencies and so forth. But they leave out a ton. That’s okay, an article that covered every iPhone annoyance would be too long to actually read. So what’s your favorite, err, most hated iPhone annoyance? We’ll go with smudgy screen #1 and put no video recording at #2.

Comments

  1. 1. It’s a closed system. You’d think Steve would have learned with the first Mac (sigh).

    2. Acquiring new functionality is a “pain in the apps”: either an OS update or a poorly designed application or both can cause havoc.

    3. How about a “week-at-a-glance” view in Calendar? While you’re at it, how about floating events?

    4. No Easter Eggs? C’mon, Apple! (Yes, I know about the Google’s hidden menu, but that’s not Apple…)

    5. The battery indicator is useless. How about percentage of battery or amount of time remaining?
