Apple Could Be Considering Music Subscription Service

Even though Apple has avoided subscription music services, recent rumors point towards Apple implementing a subscription based music service that will tie in with the iPhone somehow.

According to Apple Insider, Apple could be prepping (if talks go good with the record labels) a subscription based service that adds a premium to a special edition iPhone. This package will allow unlimited music downloads over the course of a year with the choice of continuing to pay the price to retain downloaded songs. It is unclear whether the subscription extension will be a cheap month to month plan or up front fee every year.
