Last April, we reported that AT&T was launching an iPhone plan for hear-impaired users. Basically, it’s a data-only plan, which makes good use of the iPhone’s large screen and intuitive features. The plan included unlimited SMS messaging, unlimited data, Visual Voicemail, and 40 cents per minute for phone calls- all for $40 a month. Now, people who upgraded to the 3G iPhone will have to fork out another $10 per month to take advantage of the 3G network, just like everyone else. Makes sense to us.
