Finally! An Easy Way To Install Ringtones

Normal Cell Phone are probably laughing at us right now, it’s taking this long to get a simple way to drag and drop ringtones. My old RAZR could take sound files via Bluetooth and use that as the ringer but there is reprieve, Ambrosia has released iToner 1.0, a tool that allows ringtones on the iPhone without jail breaking it.

Call me skeptical but it seems a little hard believe even though I trust Ambrosia Software. The App does seem to work (I can’t explain how) and it functions very nicely. Plug in the iPhone, drag and drop your clips then sync it over.

In addition you can access music from your iTunes library, playlists and even DRM encoded songs.

  1. I discovered this program last week and have been using it for a few days now. It is by far the best ringtone program out there. It’s extremely easy to use and I have seen the president of Ambrosia say that this is just the start and more features will be coming. Since Apple is rumored to announce their own ringtone method on Wednesday, I am waiting to see what they will be charging before I buy iToner. Now someone needs to create a program just as simple as this that will sync apps to the phone.

  2. Sadly enough I was told that this program wouldn’t work unless I had a mac, that was a total turn off for a brand new iphone user like myself. . .craptastic. . .
