Nothing warms the heart more than finding a new way to get even more out of your iPhone. What I’m really saying I suppose is finding another way to say “Hey, you can do anything with the iPhone.”

Today’s clever tip comes from Tabz over on KnowThyTech. It’s a little bit geeky, requiring the use of SSH, but is so way useful that we just had to let you know, His tip involves using the iPhone to transfer files you’ve left at home, to the internet where you can then easily access them.

Of course, we don’t forget files that often do we? But maybe when we’re going to visit someone who doesn’t have an iPhone… or a Mac… and we just feel like showing off?

“Oh, golly gosh, I left that important file at home.  Whatever shall I do? I know! My iPhone will save the day!”

If you’re the forgetful sort or just like showing off, make sure you check out Tabz’s little tute.

  1. I had the iphone 2g, great phone, loved it however I had issues with ATT arguably the worst carrier. It was a cingular experience, pun intended.  Until Apple gets its head out of arse and the iphone becomes available on all carriers I am boycotting.
