Greenpeace And Apple

Greenpeace previously released their results as to which companies they think are the most green, and Apple is not doing so well. Not that this is any surprise, because Greenpeace has made it clear that they want new materials in the iPhone and other Apple products.

I remember the first time I met Greenpeace. I was waiting in line for the iPhone, and they were outside the Apple store bothering the people in line. Many of the people waiting along with me were getting angry with them for ruining the experience.  I really have no opinion on the company itself, but I do agree with my fellow line waiters. I think the Greenpeace staff represented the company poorly or were instructed to act poorly.

This is why I really do not really care what Apple puts into their products as long as Apple meets standard requirements. I like my iPhone just the way it is and would not want Greenpeace to ruin my experience further. I find it a bit irritating and hypocritical when Greenpeace asks Apple to change; Greenpeace needs to change the way they demonstrate to the public. Apple is green enough for me.

These are just my opinions, so if you disagree with them feel free to voice your own.
