How the iPhone Made Me a Lazy Typist

imageI have been a typing really badley tall of a sufdden. This juist starte dahppening after i got used to the preictiv typing oin my ipheone.

I never used to be a Mavis Beacon Master at touch typing. I was what you would call a “super-charged hunter and pecker.” I would type at a steady pace but never too fast that I would make mistakes.

Then the iPhone came out. I didn’t grasp typing fast on the iPhone too quickly. Then I realized that even if I blazed through and didn’t care if it was keyed in correctly, the predictive typing fixed everything. It was wonderful. Now I was typing like a pro!

The problem is my fingers started moving faster than they used to and predictive typing does not follow me on my Powerbook. Hmm, I’m going to have to slow down again.

Has anyone else had this problem?
