I Just Sold My iPhone! What About You?
Well, it is June a again. The new iPhone is just around the corner. To get ready for the new 3G arrival I have dropped the ball and chain. That is I have sold my old iPhone. Within an hour of posting an ad to craigslist I had an offer. My buyer wants to pay $400 for my used iPhone. Why the high offer? It maybe because it was the first iPhone sold in California. It maybe because iPhones are hard to find. It may be any number of reasons. All I know is that I am ecstatic. The feelings and excitement of last year are coming back. I am free to feel excited, as I now have the revenue to support the 2nd generation iPhone. I will miss my iPhone, it served me well.
How about you? Will you be selling your current phone to support your wallet? When do you think is the opportune time, before demand for the 1st generation phone goes down?

I can’t sell my iPhone!
I’m carrying an unlocked iPhone because no carrier supports it in my country. Also, what new tricks will apple put into the 2nd gen iPhone? Dont know!! In fact, the new AppStore give me the chills. Therefore, I’m taking no chances. I love the flexibility of my jailbroken (tons of free apps, LOVE you Installer) iPhone and Im not ready to part with it. Until the advocates of tech democracy free the 2nd gen iPhone I’ll stick to reliable trailblazer I have in hand.

I can’t sell mine or not sell it. It was stolen yesterday morning. There is the excitement of the “new gadget” but at that cost. I have grown fond of my email and the tough of a finger, weather, data. The phone has got it’s hooks into me. Now I am going to be a 3G iPhone owner, but I don’t even care about the 3G. That phone was a PDA, Laptop and of all things a phone. So I will have one, as fate would have it.

I just traded mine in for a new (non refurb) one and it came with a full year warranty. So I think I’ll keep it. The one I got on day one had screne bubbles and the refurbs they sent were sub par. So I have one of the newest ones out there. And I like the weight of the glass and metal. I don’t think I would be happy with one made of more plastic.

Thinking of selling my iPhone to buy a 3G one next week, and was wondering if it’s possible to move the contract. I’m just under a year into the 2 year AT&T agreement, and would face about a $130 charge for early cancellation. Is there any way to know before the announcement how to avoid this, if I’m really just going to be using the same contract anyway (and would like to avoid restarting the 2 years, too)? Also, would I need to remove the sim card to save the contract/keep my old number? Thanks for any help you can offer.
