Introducing iPhone Developers Camp

Got an idea for a kickass third-party app for the iPhone? Well now you have a place to go to meet with like-minded individuals. Introducing the iPhone Developers Camp, taking place in the Bay Area a week after the iPhone launch, July 6-8, 2007 (Friday night until Sunday afternoon).

According to the organizers Digg submission:

Created by BarCampers (Raven Zachary, whurley, and Chris Messina) iPhone Developers Camp is an upcoming gathering to develop web-based applications and optimize web sites for iPhone. It is a non-commercial event, organized by volunteers, with attendance free to all. The event is being held the week following the public release of the iPhone.

On the camp webpage, you can view the tentaive schedule and current list of attendees. “Attendees will be able to: Create new web applications for iPhone. Optimize existing web applications for iPhone. Migrate Dashboard Widgets to web-based widgets for iPhone. Test and optimize web sites for iPhone.

And if you can’t make it to the Bay Area, that’s Ok too. Youc an set up a satellite event. What are you waiting for, start making some killer iPhone apps!
