I was able follow the live event, and although there were some boring parts of the demo, Apple have seemed to cover every feature we wanted plus some.

Stay tuned for a full detailed list and an expected date…

  1. Nice update so far. Particularly the A2DP! Cut and paste is looking nice (it’s utter garbage on WM), but the one feature I would like to see implemented is profiles. How convenient it would be to have a profile for home, with Wifi enabled; outdoor, with 3g, bluetooth and location enabled; night, with only EDGE or airplane mode to save interruption and battery life; or car, with bluetooth to connect to headset and everything else turned off for battery saving. At the moment, it takes ages to turn everything on and off, as all the different radio and GPS options are on different screens.

I used this feature a lot on my old Nokias and would have thought that with the GPS and such-like, some kind of auto-activation could be implemented.
