If you’re having trouble sorting out all the recent iPhone-related announcements made in the past week, we feel your pain. Luckily, the guys over at Engadget have put together an outstanding chart comparing the iPhone’s hardware and software features to the Toolchain, Windows Mobile, S60 (Symbian), and Android platforms. With hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, the iPhone clearly looks like a winner, at least from a gaming standpoint. Add an integrated database API and performance monitoring software, as well as the Cocoa touch framework, and you have an all-around star performer. Take a look at the chart, and you’ll see the iPhone stacks up remarkably well to its competitors from Microsoft, Nokia, and Google.
