iPhone Tip of the Week
I review a plethora of applications and something that always bothered me was the fact that in order to get a review application, the develpoer had to send me a gift card. I’d redeem the gift card on my computer, download the app, and then plug in my iPhone to get the application.
Fortunately, Apple’s announcement last week allows developers to give away promotional copies of their apps. That makes things a little simpler, but still, you have to go to your computer, redeem the promotional code, and get the app; That is, until now.
If you have not discovered this yet, then you’ll really love this. According to Apple, you must redeem the code with iTunes on your computer which will then download the app for syncing to your iPhone. However, to redeem an app promo code, open the iTunes app on your iPhone, tap “Downloads” and then “Redeem.”
Enter your code and iTunes will tell you that the iPhone must be synced in order to download the app. Don’t worry though! If you exit the iTunes app and open the App Store, your app will immediately begin downloading in the background. After a few seconds, you can exit the App Store and watch as the new app is downloaded to your phone.

Have u tried “Fast Notes on SBSettings? It might help you with this. I’m not sure, but it’s cool either way. Check it out and you’ll now if it helps.
It’s a mobile notepad that can be accessed within any app without closing the app. Might be useful for jotting it down in your email then referring to it in itunes store on phone? Or whatever else. Get SBSettings then addon “Fast Notes”.
