You know that porn apps are verboten on the iPhone. But you also know that the iPhone promises the full internet. How can you have the full internet without porn? That’s like having the full breathing experience without oxygen! That noted, the iPhone and porn don’t really go together. Porn sites use a lot of formatting (WMV, Flash) that the iPhone refuses to play so you realy can’t get your (lonely) freak on with the iPhone. Or can you?

We haven’t fully investigated the issue but the iPhone seems to be rubbing the porn industry in just the right way. At least according to Kim Kysar:

“The way people get their porn is changing. It is going to be more personal and you get it anywhere you are: on the road, in the bathroom at work taking a break. Nobody is going to be wiser.”

I bet most porn type folks are going with the bathroom option Kim. Anyway, certain adult sites saw biz zoom after the Christmas season. The theory being that as soon as people got a new iPhone the scuttled off to watch porn on it.

It is interesting that the iPhone really seems to be providing the whole internet to people and more interesting that people are turning to their iPhones to get the stuff. Laptops have a bigger screen, desktops render faster but many seem to think the iPhone is just right. Maybe it is the multi touch interface.Nice to know the iPhone is fulfilling a lot of people’s needs out there I guess. On the other hand since Apple has fully embraced farting perhaps the app store consider snuggling up to more blue apps. Think of the fun to be had with the motion sensor…
