Macworld Ends In Disappointment

I figured Macworld would be lacking in huge announcements, but I thought we would at least hear an announcement about an upcoming iPhone feature, software update, or something.

However, they did update the iWork suite which includes some nifty iPhone features, but other than that, they keynote was pretty boring. What did you think?

My associates, Hadley and Chris were there, so I’m sure they will deliver their experience and reactions as well.

Stay tuned…

  1. The most interesting part for me was watching MacRumor live feed get hijacked by hackers.

  2. I noticed that. Fortunately for them, not too much damage was done.

This was MACWORLD emphasis on the Mac part. Not iPhone World. Not to mention the LAST Macworld.

    The 17” Laptop - NOT a Disappointment.
DRM removal - NOT a Disappointment.

  4. Agreed, Jovan. Was a bit of a flat end to Apple at MacWorld.

George, MacWorld is a name that throws back to when there was pretty much only Macs. Apple has gotten over the moniker and used it to launch or announce ipods, iphone etc. Ironically you highlight a non Mac announcement.

For me the most exciting thing was iWork now lets you save directly to MS Office documents formats.

In other years, Steve would at least have bored us for 15 minutes about sales figures - which this year I though would have been iPhone sales figures.

The only thing of relevance to the iPhone was the iTMS over 3G.
