A lot of people are going to create cases for the upcoming iPhone 3G. I think a lot of people are going to also be buying more cases for their iPhone 3Gs. Why? Well, the iPhone 3G is going to sport a glossy back that just screams “scratch me!”

I never have been a big fan of cases, but with the upcoming iPhone 3G, I will definitely consider it. One cases I will consider is a style I love in cases. The “folio” style case design has always been an interest to me.

Marware made a similar cases for the iPhone 2G so it come as no surprise that they have created the C.E.O. Premiere for iPhone 3G.

Marware’s new C.E.O. Premiere for iPhone 3G is a leather sunglass-style holster for the iPhone 3G, using a microsuede interior and a non-detachable belt clip to hold the device at waist level.

C.E.O. Premiere is designed to provide access to the headphone port while inside, so that you can listen to music or take calls with the iPhone 3G’s headset while you’re walking.

The case sells for $35 (plus tax and shipping) and can be found here amongst other cases as well.

  2. Hey Dale,

The iPhone 3G is slightly thicker than the first generation iPhone, but not so significantly that you can’t use previous cases or some of your own cases. I’m just sure some of the iPhone accessories for each generation fit better. Not to mention, it is a way to make more money. smile

  3. i dont like this kind of cases, my favorite is the iphone ecoshield case, covers all but not the screen. And yes, i use too a screen protector. the new iphone 3g will be thicker, and maybe iphone 2g cases wont fit it correctly, im still thinking of buying it!

  4. HI Jovan,

Have you use the Last Mareware case like this ? i also like this style but i currently have the Incase folio, i really like the clip on the incase, its very secure and low profile. How is the clip on this one ?
    Thanks

  5. Hello there,

I have used the last Marware case and the clip is that of the Incase that you currently have. I have a friend that uses the Incase and the clip on the Marware is just as secure and low profile as the Incase. They have pretty much kept the same clip as the did the previous Marware CEO case so you really can’t tell a difference. Sometimes I wish each of these cases swiveled, but for a folio-styled case, it wouldn’t make much since.

  6. Glad to hear this, now i may pick up the Marware case instead. If the clip is as you say than thats for me.
I really dont like putting plastic hard shells or rubber shells on my iphone, i want to enjoy the looks so invisible shield and the mare ware ceo folio is the way im going with my current iphone and the 3g.
    Easy access as well
