Wall Street Journal tech analyst Walt Mossberg recently predicted in a video clip that the 3G iPhone would be released “in 60 days.” However, Walt has now disclosed that the prediction was just that- not an official announcement of any kind. He claims that it was simply a ballpark estimate, which he based solely on the same rumors that all iPhone fans are reading about. Even though this does remove credibility to his prediction, Walt has an excellent reputation for predicting these kinds of things. Here’s to hoping he’s right this time.
