If you’re as obsessed with blogging as we are, you’ll appreciate having the ability to quickly fire off a post on the go. Sure, it’s already possible to access many blogging clients from the Safari browser, but nothing can match the convenience of a native application. Fortunately, WordPress is set to release such an application in the very near future. Matt Mullenwag, CEO of WordPress, confirmed that the company would be coming out with a “built-in” iPhone WordPress client soon. TypePad is also set to follow suit: “Six Apart pioneered the mobile blogging experience with an iPhone-optimized blog service,” said Chris Alden, CEO of Six Apart, the company that owns TypePad.
