New iPhone game “Trism” combines accelerometer with puzzle gameplay

Trism is a Bejeweled-like prism matching game with two special twists. First, the game uses triangles that you drag around in order to match them up with each other. When you make a match, the prisms on top of that area drop down into the newly vacated space. That’s when things get interesting. Depending on which direction you are holding your iPhone, the prisms will always fall downward, as if they were affected by gravity. The game’s developer, Steve D., says he came up with the idea on February 8th and start coding immediately, so it took just under a month to create this game. Judging from the YouTube video he posted, his work really paid off. Check out a demo of the game after the link.
