Orb has been around for a while, and has made appearance on almost every computer, gaming, and mobile platform. Now, the video streaming software has come to the iPhone, meaning you’ll be able to access all the media you have stored on your computer. Oh, and live television. I downloaded Orb yesterday and can report that the free program certainly is groundbreaking. I was able to watch video files off my computer just as if they were stored locally on my iPhone. Unfortunately, streaming over EDGE is almost impossible, but that is to be expected. If you have a jailbroken iPhone, make sure to fire up Installer.app and dowload Orb as soon as you can- you’ll be glad you did.
