When it comes to protecting your iPhone there aren’t many options available that will offer full protection. Of the few that you can buy now, NLU’s Bodygaurdz for iPhone is perhaps the best thing you can buy right now and puts competitors such as the Invisible Shield to shame.

Bodygaurdz come in 2 packs, each pack contains a front and back film. Basically you’re getting 2 products in one, a bargain for any avid iPhone shopper even when compared to low end static cling films. But that’s not the meat of this product, more like the tip of the iceberg. What makes the Bodygaurdz so great is they are so damn durable!
Before you start gloating about how damage resistant your iPhone is, you’ll have to get through applying them first. It requires little effort but some level of patience and time. The Bodyguardz are applied the same way the Invisible Shield is applied in that you have to spray a special solution onto the films that become tacky later on.

When handling them it’s best, no required you clean your iPhone completely before applying and spraying some solution onto your finger tips. This makes it so much easier to handle and you can go crazy with how much solution you spray, if too much is applied it makes no difference.

I suggest applying the back shield first but it is tricky to line it up perfectly. On my first try, I put it too far over the left edge so it rose up over the chrome border slightly yet unevenly. Playing around with it and working right from left by applying the edges first makes it easier to line up properly. The back will stick on almost instantly and has to be squeegee’ed down to stay down firmly. However the edges prove to be difficult and require you tack them down every time they pop up. NLU suggests waiting 10 minutes before attempting the corners again but if you don’t really need them you can easily snip them off.

When compared to the Invisible Shield, these make them look like a joke, When I had done my previous review, I was able to tear through the Invisible Shield easily and even scratch them with my keys. The BodyGaurdz fare much, much better. I could not penetrate the film even when stretched with my keys, It would refuse to tear and showed no signs of me doing anything to it.

Is this film for you? You bet it is, even if you end up using it seperately you’ll never know it’s on and it does not interfere with any touch controls. The only cons this film might have is the corners accumulate debris but can be easily clipped off.
