Run Palm On Your iPhone
There is a video that you can watch here that shows an iPod Touch running the Palm OS.
It is as perplexing to me as it is to others of why anyone would want the Palm OS on their iPhone or iPod Touch, but it would make those few Palm users quite comfortable.
It is not available yet, but as soon as we here about the SDK, you should hear about Palm OS for your iPhone or iPod touch shortly afterwards.

Why would it be perplexing to you? A moment’s thought would tell you why someone would want to do this. Many, many iPhone owners are also owners of Palm PDAs or Palm Treo smartphones. The iPhone is WONDERFUL but it’s software base and the capabilities of some of the built-in software still leave a LOTto be desired. The Palm software base is gigantic, so many iPhone owners (such as yours truly) still have many apps that have no replacement on the iPod. Some of the built in apps (notably the calendar app) in the iPhone are also less capable than the Palm’s built-in calendar app. Until replacement apps are available on the iPhone, which may be a long time IF EVER, then StyleTap’s emulator is a wonderful development. I’ll buy a copy in heartbeat.

I agree with Jovan, if you want a palm os then buy a palm device, dont butcher(downgrade) the beauty of the iphone with a second rate os. So, yes, it is very perplexing, especially since the sdk is imminent and will have all the apps you could possibly stuff in bills fruit of the looms. Makes absolutely no sense, like swapping the engine in a Ferrari with the motor of a vw bug..inane.
