Unsurprisingly the iPhone isn’t the only game in town when it comes to smartphones, there are a jillion of them. But there are only a few OSes used by smartphones. The big players are: Windows Mobile, OS X Mobile, Nokia’s OS, Blackberry and Android. What you want ot know is which one is best without having to drag yourself to the store and actually do a little research of your own. Good news bad news. First the good news. Computerworld has published a comprehensive, page spanning, article comparing most of the popular OSes out there.
According to Computerworld the iPhone wins in entertainment (it’s part iPod after all). The iPhones ties for first in photo capability with the Blackberry curve. Nokia wins the email bttel but all models tested were considered adequate and finally the iPhone wins where it matters most: internet browsing.

Oh, that bad news? Android, used on the G1 isn’t included in the roundup.

The complete review at Computerworld.
