imageNow you really have no excuses. If you read this blog you a) Either have an iPhone and what to be kept up on the latest, b) Really really want an iPhone. Well, if you are in the B camp for the first time since the iPhone shipped all Apple stores are showing it in stock. So this weekend you have no excuses. Now, if you are on the fence thinking, I should wait for Rev 2., is the iPhone really that great just stop all those negative thoughts.

The iPhone really is that great.

And Rev. 2 is going to come via a software update, so don’t worry about that.

And the iPhone really is that great.

So get out there, go to your local Apple store and pick when up. And come back Monday for more of the best coverage for all things iPhone. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment with any suggest you have to make iPhone Matters the best iPhone blog out there.

  2. Paul,

Sorry to hear that. Well, not that you are British (I was acutally born in England and lived there till the ripe old age of 4). But sorry you can’t get an iPhone this weekend. Of course, you could just pop on a jet and come on over and pick one up… wink

  5. Hadley

Only problem with that is, if I wanted it to work as a phone, it would brick after 3 months :(

Hopefully it’ll finally come out over here in like October

  6. I’d like to get an iPhone, but unfortunately cannot.  For some reason, it requires OS 10.4.10, and I have 10.3.9.  Prior iPods work with 10.3.9 - they only need the current version of iTunes.  And, indeed, the current version of iTunes runs on 10.3.9.  A 2 1/2 year old Mac OS isn’t sufficient for iPhone - but a 6 year old Win XP works fine.  Does this really make any sense?

  7. Actually, Randy, you need XP Service Pack 2, which I think is a similar situation if you only have Pac 1 (don’t you have to pay for pack 2?).

Also, apart from the iPhone you really should upgrade to Tiger (or wait a few months and get Leopard). Even going from Panther to Tiger, you will feel like you have a new machine!

  10. I have never been facinated by any phone like the iPhone and if it will take just Tiger, Leopard to get the best from it I will go for them and even add zibra’s and loin if I can to see if they will give me an edge over other users

  11. I do not agree Hadley, beside sp2 was a free download i need to come up with at least $100 for 10.4.1
Do anyone know of a way around this
