Transform Your Current Phone Into an iPhone

imageNo, I’m not talking about some cheesy cardboard printout to wrap around your RAZR. How would you like to gain access to your Apple files including music and videos now, instead of waiting for the iPhone? Well, according to TransMedia chairman and CEO Donald Leka, you can now turn “every major cell phone on the market into more than an iPhone, before the iPhone comes out. From that phone, not only will you be able to access everything, but you will also have significant capabilities to edit, manipulate, and create files on that phone and then have it reverse synchronize back to your Mac.”

Transmedia, a media sharing service, announced that they will release their Glide Sync and Glide Mobile software for Mac users. So why would you settle for keeping your current phone?

Glide Mobile allows you to use any phone carrier, not just AT&T. It also allows you to stream way more content than the limiting 8GB that comes with the iPhone. So basically this reduces the iPhone’s appeal to form and design.

Which one are you? The one where content is key. Or is elegant form factor design your bag?
