Upgrade to a 3G iPhone for free!

Those of us who sold our 1G iPhones in order to ugprade to the latest model know there’s alot of money out there for unlocked, used iPhones. FreeiPhoneSwap.com wants in on the action, and is offering a $199 or $299 cash (for the 8GB or 16GB) for your old iPhone- exactly the price of a new 3G phone. Clearly, FreeiPhoneSwap is a streamlined service that should be great for anyone wanting to upgrade, but if you’re looking to get top dollar on your old phone, eBay is the way to go. We’re guessing this website makes their profits off of selling your old phone at a higher value, so why not do it yourself? Unlocked EDGE iPhones are ending at around $400, so make sure to get yours listed as soon as you can.

  1. Hi , im wondering about the 4GB iphone like mine? Still the thought of parting with it for “Plastic” but also 3g ? Two things im thinking i want to keep a hard metal over cheap plastic . Also how much for a 4GB if i change my mind?

  3. Thanks ron for the info but im also saying would it be worth giving up a metal iphone for the new plastic?I know its 3g but still plastic.

  4. Looks like they are no offering more for the phone. I saw these guys outside the Apple store after I read about them in the Miami Herald.

    I was able to sell them my iphone with a cracked glass for more than I would have got on eBay. Apparently they are willing to buy an condition phone.
