Windows Mobile on your iPhone?
Let’s get something straight right off the bat: if you’re from Norway and you say Windows Moe-Bile that’s okay. Second language and all. If you are a native speaker and you say Windows Moe-Bile (instead of Mobil, like the oil company) you are simply annoying.
I feel better. Now let’s get to the news. Some cool, young Norwegian guy (Erik Krinstianser) has devised a method to use Windows Mobile on your iPhone. This is awesome in the sense of “Oh, wow, that is incredibly clever” but lame in the sense of “it is interesting that you can pound a nail up your nose but I’m not going to do it” way.
As great as all that is (and the end product will be open source) the interview with the developer is even better. The beginning is pretty standard stuff but the end gets into long winters and girlfriends. Worth watching.

Ok lets get it straight, it is spelled MOBILE not MOBIL, so if you can’t pronounce the english just keep to your US english and say CELL.

heheh - yeah, me thinks you USians might be in the minority on this one… us Skippies say mo-bile too.
I’ll have to find some other words to annoy you with, eh Chris.
How about aluminium, maths, tomato (tom-art-toe)?Whichever way you say it though, Windows on your iPhone certainly is vile bile.

I’ve got another annoying word. How about those annoying uneducated people (and I think you know exactly who they are) that say Nucular. WTF is a Nucular? And why does nobody call them on it. These are supposed to be smart people.
