I use bluetooth in my car, so being able to make calls via a bluetooth connection to a headset is important to me.  I’d also like to see the iPhone plugged into newer cars to use their built-in bluetooth voice dialing functionality.

Yeah, I would like that very much - perhaps an option to the contacts to record a voice-dial sound bite, and some software that can compare a sound and retrieve one or more possible contacts to dial - this is what I bought as an add-on VoiceDialIt software for my Palm Treo and it worked ok.
