Actually I haven’t seen an iPhone yet. So I’m not 100% sure my wish is already realized. As the topic says, CoverFlow method should perfect for finding contacts in your contact list. But it would not be very good for the moment. Because many users (Mac Users to be correct) should be syncing contacts with the Apple Address Book. And Address Book pictures are so tiny for the moment and can’t be seen well in CoverFlow. Maybe this wish applies for the pictures attached to contacts in iPhone. Maybe in Leopard Apple let us attach bigger size pictures to our contacts in Address Book… Wouldn’t it be nice?

Awesome idea, and there is the opportunity there with the fact you can assign a photo to a contact, although the photo is so small. Browsing contacts via coverflow like you suggest would be great.
