Belkin Leather Hard Case review
I hate shoving my iPhone in a case. The case takes up valuable pocket room and covers up the cool looks of the iPhone. So I went case free for the fist six months of of my iPhone enabled life. What happened next was, if you’re a clumsy as me, inevitable. On a rainy, gray day the iPhone slipped from my hand, rotated through the air in seeming slow motion and smacked the ground perfectly flat on the screen side. The screen was cracked badly (though the iPhone still worked) and so it was time to a trip to the Apple Store. They replaced the phone for free (I was so embarrassed I cajoled my wife into talking to them).
One accidental drop was enough so I ponied up for a case. The first case taught me that I hated cases with belt clips because a) I don’t wear belts and b) because people who walk around with a phone clipped to their belt should given a valium and sent back to 1996. So when the old case didn’t work with the iPhone 3G (it blocked the sensor that would turn the screen on while making a phone… more...
WildCharge Adapters for iPhone & iPod Touch: Coming Soon
We have all done it. We have all, at one time or another, forgotten to charge our phones. What if all you had to do was place your phone on the desk and it would receive a full charge? Then would your phone be ready for the day? Wireless charging has become a reality. WildCharge aims to make charging as easy as placing a phone on a pad.
The technology works via a simple adapter that sits on the phone. WildCharge uses inductive charging, similar to many rechargeable toothbrushes. As of now the Razr Adapter is the only adapter on the shelves, but that will soon change. WildCharge is introducing a flurry of adapters waiting to wirelessly charge your electronics. Included with these new products are the iPod Touch and iPhone adapters. Just place your phone on the pad and charging will commence. Wow. The dream has come true.
Go and check out WildCharge. I will be getting one, will you?

An iPhone I know of recently received significant damage to it’s screen. If that phone was equipped with the iPhone Xylo T2 Reflect Chrome case, then things might have turned out differently. This is because the case is one of the first to offer a hard screen cover through which the iPhone can receive input. “It enables you to navigate the iPhone’s screen with the hard scratch resistant shield.” I know of other cases which have soft covers, but not one has a hard cover. The case works through “Surface Xylo Wave (SXW)© technology [which] passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone’s screen without any interferences.”
The company may not be very descriptive, but the case seems like a great idea (if you like cases). I keep my iPhone case free, which also keeps it free from particles scratching the surface. I would buy this case if it solved the particle problem.
Would you buy this case?

As Apple expands their retails store on a global store so does their notoriety which is why it’s no surprise a retail store is being planned for the MGM Grand Casino and Ceasar’s Palace.
Apple is planning on opening a new retail store at the west end of The Forum of Caesar’s Palace. In addition, one is being planned for the MGM Grand in Foxwood, Connecticut. We’d like to believe this is just a continuation of Apple’s strategy to sell those 10 million iPhones this year but if you’re in the area, be sure to check them out.

It may seem like a tiny accessory not worthy of a mention. But anyone that has tried to listen to their iPhone with their existing favorite pair of headphones realize the importance of such a product.
It’s simple actually. The recessed 3.5mm port in the iPhone is not terribly friendly with some existing earphones or earbuds with shallow jacks. If it can’t reach the hole, you just won’t get a sound. Some people will just submit to using the ones included with their iPhones. But for those who prefer to use their tried and true phones or buds, you need an adaptor.
This 3.5mm Stereo Head Jack Converter from WirelessGround.com is built especially for the iPhone. It does exactly as advertised: by extending the jack in a giant “L-shaped” it allows full flexibility with all headphones. At a great price of $9.95 you can’t go wrong. Check it out here.

DLO Ships Very Unportable iPhone Speakers
In an ongoing attempt to cash out from the hordes of consumers offering up their wallets for iPod compatible accessories, 3rd parties have created every known addon to man and then released it about a couple dozen times. While you can buy cases, dock holders and even a bed for your iPod, we’ve yet to see this thrown at the iPhone with a raging desire for more opportunities to rebrand consumer goods with the almighty “Made For iPhone Label”.
DLO on the other hand disregarded everything and fused a pair of speakers to the iPhone in an abnormal fashion ruining an already good design. For $50 you can probably increase the iPhone’s loudness but to have the audacity of labeling these egg shaped oddities with the word “portable” makes about as much sense as using a lawn mower for flight. The possibility is there but should never be done lest someone in the marketing and design department decided that instead of bailing from a failing job created a horrible “Made For A Device That Starts With A Lowercase i” product to extract some sort of imaginary revenge.

Turn Your iPhone Into an iEye
One day, maybe the iPhone will incorporate a lens that is capable of 8.0MP and at least a 3X zoom without jeopardizing the sleek form factor.
Until that day, why not use you iPhone to take some cool up close pictures using a funky add-on.
What looks to be a iPhone gone wrong, there is a super cheap zoom lens you can add to the iPhone to give it the ability to do some awesome close up pictures.
Called the ”Apple iPhone Mobile Phone Telescope,” this lens can zoom in as close as 6X!
One advantage they have on their site is: “The new design to run of rays can effectively avoid the contortion of image, and makes the super wide angle, the larger luminous flux, the higher visual acuteness, good for color reduction, which makes the high quality of photography.”
I’ve seen some pictures with this device and can say that I am impressed. Even better news - The price is $19.00!
NewerTech Rolling Out New Line Of iPhone Accessories
Newer Technology, maker of iPod and Mac accessories has announced their new line of iPhone accessories expected to debut during Macworld Expo.
The new line of accessories encompass your generic line of iPhone addons from chargers to headphone adaptors but two of them have piqued my interest: the Mic Extender Cable and Speaker Dock. A caveat of headphones marketed for the iPhone is the lack of a mic. Shure has solved this problem with a cable adaptor and mic but the high price sets itself out of the range of some. Newertech is introducing a similar component that gets the job done for only $15.
In addition NewerTech is introducing a speaker system for $35 that includes a microphone allows calls while docked.

One of the oddest iPod accessories, OhMiBod, has received iPhone compatibility along with some new features.

When the iPhone is attached to your OhMiBod and you receive a call, OhMiBod will vibrate to the caller’s voice, a feature that will truly revolutionize phone sex!”
