Simultaneously Wear Gloves and Use Your iPhone!
As the days get colder, I find myself wearing gloves more often. However, isn’t it a pain if you are wearing gloves and someone calls you and you ‘slide to answer’ hoping the iPhone will recognize the action? Meet Etry Touchy Gloves.
I am going to make another band reference. This one time at band camp....
If you have ever been in the marching band, then you know the woodwind instruments can’t be played with gloves and if the players wore gloves, they would have to have the tips cut out. That is exactly what Etry Touchy Gloves are. Except these gloves have two tips cut out.
They’re a pair of soft nit gloves that lack an index finger and thumb so you can access your iPhone’s touchscreen without taking your gloves off. They remind me of hobo gloves, but they’re still pretty stylish if you’re in to grey and turquoise.
You can get them at the maker’s website, EtreTouchy.com for around $22.50

Some people thought I was crazy when I told them my 3G iPhone camera was much better than my first generation iPhone. I still think it is, however, it is not as good as Griffin claims their new add-on will make it.
Unfortunately, as you all know, the iPhone lacks the ability to focus in on objects so taking pictures of things close up can be an interesting experience. To help out a little, Griffin Technology has stepped in to save the day with the iClarifi Case.
This cool case comes with a built-in macro lens that can slide into place over the camera’s lens. That way, when you want to take a picture of something close-up, you can just slide the lens to the left and you can take much clearer pictures.
You can order it now for $34.99 from Griffin Technology.
Turn Your iPhone into a True Gaming Device With Help from Marware
I thought I’d never see the day, however, those of you who play a lot of iPhone games might be interested in the new product Marware announced last week built for playing games on the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G.
It’s called the Game Grip for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, and it sports two silicone-covered handles to provide a more ergonomic gaming experience.
The Game Grip holder fits both iPod touch and iPhone devices, and comes with a silicone skin for either device. It also has a unique cord management system that lets you both use your headphones and charge the device while still in the holder.
Can’t wait to get your hands on it? The Game Grip for the Apple iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G will be in black with blue silicone handle grips. It’s available for pre-order for $49.99 at their website, Mareware.com.

What’s something people don’t like about the iPhone? The battery life. Sure it has gotten better with firmware updates and S. Jobs warned us that 3G was power hungry way back in 2006 but an iPhone with a dead battery is almost worthless. You can still look cool rocking the thing at the Starbucks but that is about it.
But what if you had a case that could charge the iPhone via the power of the sun. That’s right, a phone charger that could tap solar radioactivity and transfer this energy to your iPhone. You’d be green and good to go. Unless you live in Alaska or somewhere else where night lasts six months or something.
IF that’s what you’re looking for Brando.com.hk has you covered. For $48 you get a case with a solar panel and an internal rechargable battery. The case charges the battery, the battery charges your iPhone in under three hours. If you drain the built in battery your iPhone will still charge from the solar panel but you’ll be waiting 12 hours according to the web… more...
iPhone fingers
Well it isn’t as disturbing as salad fingers but it is just as odd. iPhone compatible gloves. The product is called Dot Gloves and lets you interact with just about any touch screen device thanks to special dots in the fingertips. Which is great for broad general stuff but can you imagine typing up an email with gloves on? Well if you can they are fifteen bucks for a pair of knot gloves and twenty for a pair of Ragg wool. Get them at dotsgloves.

Belkin Leather Hard Case review
I hate shoving my iPhone in a case. The case takes up valuable pocket room and covers up the cool looks of the iPhone. So I went case free for the fist six months of of my iPhone enabled life. What happened next was, if you’re a clumsy as me, inevitable. On a rainy, gray day the iPhone slipped from my hand, rotated through the air in seeming slow motion and smacked the ground perfectly flat on the screen side. The screen was cracked badly (though the iPhone still worked) and so it was time to a trip to the Apple Store. They replaced the phone for free (I was so embarrassed I cajoled my wife into talking to them).
One accidental drop was enough so I ponied up for a case. The first case taught me that I hated cases with belt clips because a) I don’t wear belts and b) because people who walk around with a phone clipped to their belt should given a valium and sent back to 1996. So when the old case didn’t work with the iPhone 3G (it blocked the sensor that would turn the screen on while making a phone… more...
WildCharge Adapters for iPhone & iPod Touch: Coming Soon
We have all done it. We have all, at one time or another, forgotten to charge our phones. What if all you had to do was place your phone on the desk and it would receive a full charge? Then would your phone be ready for the day? Wireless charging has become a reality. WildCharge aims to make charging as easy as placing a phone on a pad.
The technology works via a simple adapter that sits on the phone. WildCharge uses inductive charging, similar to many rechargeable toothbrushes. As of now the Razr Adapter is the only adapter on the shelves, but that will soon change. WildCharge is introducing a flurry of adapters waiting to wirelessly charge your electronics. Included with these new products are the iPod Touch and iPhone adapters. Just place your phone on the pad and charging will commence. Wow. The dream has come true.
Go and check out WildCharge. I will be getting one, will you?

An iPhone I know of recently received significant damage to it’s screen. If that phone was equipped with the iPhone Xylo T2 Reflect Chrome case, then things might have turned out differently. This is because the case is one of the first to offer a hard screen cover through which the iPhone can receive input. “It enables you to navigate the iPhone’s screen with the hard scratch resistant shield.” I know of other cases which have soft covers, but not one has a hard cover. The case works through “Surface Xylo Wave (SXW)© technology [which] passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone’s screen without any interferences.”
The company may not be very descriptive, but the case seems like a great idea (if you like cases). I keep my iPhone case free, which also keeps it free from particles scratching the surface. I would buy this case if it solved the particle problem.
Would you buy this case?

As Apple expands their retails store on a global store so does their notoriety which is why it’s no surprise a retail store is being planned for the MGM Grand Casino and Ceasar’s Palace.
Apple is planning on opening a new retail store at the west end of The Forum of Caesar’s Palace. In addition, one is being planned for the MGM Grand in Foxwood, Connecticut. We’d like to believe this is just a continuation of Apple’s strategy to sell those 10 million iPhones this year but if you’re in the area, be sure to check them out.
